Raped Cobalt SS from a roll

So I was on my way home a little bit ago and ran into a guy and his girl in a Cobalt SS. He got on it and so did I and I walked him pretty good. We went from a 50 roll too. Went at it 3 times and everytime, same outcome. Never did catch a light though, he ended up turning a different way.

This is not said in jest, but does everyone in your city race? Where are the cops? I haven't actually lived in the states for about 7 years now (3 years in Germany; 4 years in Korea), but I remember, in Jersey anyway, there used to be cops everywhere. I can only hope that once I get back to Florida I have your kind of luck (and kill record).

The cops are everywhere here as well. This town is something else. You just have to be real careful about where and when you do it. I have the driving record to prove it, it sucks. I wouldnt say that everyone races here but a lot of people do. What part of Jersey are you from? I grew up in Maplewood which is right next to South Orange.

It was SC. I was surprised cause usually I cant barely take anyone from a roll. Although, this was my first race with some new tuning equipment.

l lived in the Pt. Pleasant/Bricktown area (exit 91), otherwise known as the Jersey Shore. Used to race all the time up and down 37 going into and out of Seaside. Camaro and Mustang heaven. Nothing like that here in Korea. I live in Seoul and haven't driven faster than 45 mph due to traffic in about 4 years. Of course Germany made up for with the Autobahn. Nothing like driving a rented BMW 5 series at 150.

Pt. Pleasant was the best IMO. I used to go there alot. Even met a girl there once from Denville that I really screwed things up with. Also the first time I ever went on an amusement type ride (the Galyan ) I think it was called. Big pendulum ship swings back and forth. Almost pissed my pants.

I actually haven't been back to that area since about 2003. Most of my family moved to Florida, so that is where I will be setting up shop once I get back. There are a lot of lights and 4 lane roads, so I should be able to find a few races. Last time I went back some asshat in a SRT-4 tried to race me. The funny thing was I was driving my brothers Silverado work truck, with a phuematic jack hammer and a ton of other tools in the bed. I think he got a little pissed that I got off the line first (I wasn't racing, just used to driving a 4 cyl POS, not an 8 cylinder truck, so I got on it as the light changed). I think I will be all right in a Ty.

Ive heard that the sc cobalt was actually slower than the n/a.

The SC's are much quicker. Don't know who you got your info from, but I wouldn't trust it.
