I lost my instructions and need to set the razor alky. Its spraying to much even with the knob set to 2. It runs better with it off. Help. Anyone know what the knobs in the box are for and how to set and dial it in. Thanks.

Re: razor alky settings

Unless you have already changed the pots inside the controller I wouldn't mess with them to start out with. I believe Julio said most people won't need to change the default setting in the controller. He presets them before sending them out. If it is missing or breaking up with the knob set to 2 it sounds like your tune may be too rich and you will may need to pull fuel out of your tune. What do your AFRs look like? What are you plugs gapped at?

running 18-19 lbs. Truck pulls harder with no alky. with alky the truck feels like its pulling timming but its not. Thinking its overspraying and breaking up the power. All internal settings are stock. just looking for a good baseline for syty's. I hope to run 22lbs on race gas. last nigh with no alky I was able too pull 2 car lengths on a 2002 saleen stang from 0-110. it pulled hard all the way. computer was not hooked yp but it felt better then it ever has. But no alky.

so your running 18-19lbs without the alky ? if so you will lose power when spraying unless you turn up the boost or timing. good luck.

Re: razor alky settings

can I set the alky to turn on later then. I thought alky would help any boost level?? Where should it start to spray to get the bennifit from it.

Im not familiar with your kit but Im a SNOW PERFORMANCE dealer and with our kits I usually set up all of the cars with a progressive box which enables the tuner or driver to adjust on and off and % start point of spray and then ramp it up to full 100% spray at the top end or were they feel like they want it to be 100%. This eliminates any flooding or missing. A lot of people believe that you will gain power by just spraying alky on there set up without changing a thing and that is totally false. You must retune your vehicle in order to make more power. It sounds like your flooding out the intake with to much meth from what you have described. If your running 19lbs of boost you shouldn't activate the meth until around 10-12lbs and then ramp it up from there. If you dont have a a/f monitor in your truck you will need one or you will have to get it on a dyno and then see what your a/f is without the spray and then while spraying. for example, if your Afr is tuned to 12.0:1 on 19 lbs without the spray then when you spray it drops to, lets just say 10.0:1, you now can turn the boost or timing up which ever you prefer(boost is usually the easiest) until you get back to your 12.0:1 Afr. You know can run more then 19lbs of boost at the same Afr and make more power. Always remember that you will always lose h.p. if you dont retune with more boost or added timing. I hope this helps you out. Tony.
