The stuffing/cushion in the drivers seat on my Typhoon has become flat and lost its firmness. The leather is still in good condition however I want to get the bottom part of the seats restuffed. Has anyone taken theirs to a trim shop to have this done or better yet has anyone done this themselves? If so any recommendations would be great!!

Most any upholstery shop will be able to install new foam and use your existing covers.
Call around and see whos the cheapest.
Should be a pretty simple repair, any shop SHOULD be able to do it without screwing anything up.
For safe measure I'd take the seats out and deliver them.

I just took the driver seat out of the typhoon, flipped it over and just stuffed a cut up piece of mattress foam between the springs and the old cushion. Worked like a charm, and super super cheap.
I'm sure a whole new foam pad would be nicest, but I'm cheap in some aspects

After you unbolted the seat and removed it, did you have to take any other part of the seat apart to put the new foam in there, or could you do this by just flipping the seat over and accessing it form there?

other than removing the seats, i did not disassemble anything else. Just pushed the springs away from the padding and stuffed.
The only thing that was a pita was one side of the seat adjusters changed so lining the seat up to put it back in became a small hassle.
Not that bad, more of an annoyance.
