Rear Axle Upgrades

What are the common rear axle failures? Sorry my search function is not working.

While I have everything out I am thinking about picking up an Eaton Tru Trac and a set of good axles. I am going to swap in LS disk brakes before it goes back in.

You can always go with an 8.5" out of a later stick shift S10 with a 4.3

You could just purchase a moser 12 bolt and be done with it!

Transfer case will probably go before the differential does. Weakest link being the transmission.

I picked up a TruTrac and will grab a set of good axles. I believe the 7.625 should be strong enough with those upgrades given I am staying AWD. If I was 2WD I would definitely swap in a larger axle. I am also trying to keep the weight down.
