I got mine off Ebay but it didn't have a brand name on it, it came off an S10.

I just ordered the Lund Backdraft tailgate spoiler. It was only $60, so if I don't like it, no big loss. Will have it painted to match the truck along with the cladding and grille, which I've put off for too long.

it would look better if it were flush or blended in. If it wasn't so stick-on looking i'd like it more. I'm sure you care what i think your truck looks like :rotf:

if your truck is black it wont need to be painted. fwiw the pic i did above it is as it came out of the box.

I just received the following message from the merchant I ordered the Lund spoiler from:

"Jeremy, I spoke with Lund today and they told me they do not have a tailgate
spoiler for a 1991 GMC Sonoma pick-up. The part number listed on your order
is not longer a valid part number and we will be removing it from our
website. I will be cancelling your order and apologize for this inconvenience."

That's just great...Hey Ed, where did you buy yours from? I'm gonna be really bummed if these are no longer available

yep

i just checked and lund no 54006 has been discontinued.

so you wanna buy mine?

tell ya what.... you could buy one for a full size older body chev pickup. their gates were straight accorss the back. cut equal amounts off both ends.
carefully heat the plastic to reform as needed. you could literally do this . i am dead serious!

just use the cut ends prior to learn how to heat and shape the plastic.

Well, by some stroke of luck, there is a seller on eBay that has 10 of these in stock, I just ordered one for the Syclone and one for our '97 monster truck. The best part is they are priced at $20 each! I just got a 2-for-1, sweet

The infamous texas tail in the early 90s that was the wing to have that and a fast back cab spoiler, My sy sadly had the cab spoiler dealer installed when i bought it. I drove the truck home and promptly removed it at 3am.

tekstyle makes a billit aluminum black powder coated spoiler that fits nice, I would reccomend you install it with nut-inserts on tailgate.the factory bed cover will still work with this. I bought mine through summit racing 2 years ago for about 95 bucks, sorry no pics. its possible that Chooey might have a digital pic somewhere.

wrong assumption!

i had a oem lund cover with it. (add shim under frame at rear)

then i had an electric slider with it.

and now i have an access brand cover with it.
