Truckless. For now.
Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop.
First, our apologies for this taking so long go get locked in. We are working through costs and fees and trying to keep registration as reasonable as possible for all attending. We fully recognize that Denver is smack dab in the middle of nowhere for you, and making the drive with gas prices where they are at isn't going to be cheap.
One sticking point is the racing fee. It is quite a bit higher than previous years at $80 per racer. Yes, you read that right. $80 per racer, even if two people are going to race the same truck/rental.
Why so expensive you ask? It's because we are getting a private track rental at Bandimere Speedway.
Here are some quick facts for those that have never been there:
Basics:
As you can see, we aren't renting a small time, mom and pop race track. We will have the privilege of racing at a full sanctioned NHRA speedway with all the benefits that entails.
Because of the steeper than we're used to racing fee, we are working all the angle to get the rest of the registration cost as low as possible. As such, we are working with our sponsors and vendors to make this event as affordable as possible.
Thanks for your patience guys! I really very truly hope to have registration up by Saturday at the earliest, Monday at the latest.
