Removing AC clutch

I bought one of those fancy AC clutch covers from March Performance.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the freakin' old clutch off.
I borrowed some tools from Autozone, but none of those were right, so last night I went for broke and bent the piece-o-s#%t all up and still couldn't get it off.

What do I need to do to get the clutch off?
Help!!!!!!!!

I'll go out on a limb and make a suggestion even though I have never had to take mine off. Seems like it would be one of those "takes WAY longer than you thought it would" mods ). Dunno if there is enough tension on the serpentine belt to keep it from turning without using an impact... From there it should be a matter of using a 3 or 4 jaw gear puller to get the clutch off. However If you busted the hell out of the outer flange on the clutch, you might be in trouble. If you have to take the entire compressor out, there is a step by step description on how to do it here: http://www.TechWeasel.com/articles/syty/rebuild.htm Check out March 28 and April 4 for tips on how it get it out. It does involve some grinding though. HTH

Getting the clutch nut off wasn't a problem.
As for grinding the bolts down, no need for that either. There is a little trick to getting the bolts out.

The clutch isn't FUBAR'ed, yet.

I guess I'll buy a 3 jaw puller and try that.
