Replacement Stickers (door, hood, etc)

Guys, I was considering this a while back and even started recreating the stock underhood stickers. Is there any intrest in them? Does anyone think its a bad idea for me to recreate them and sell them?

My thinking is after all this time some of my stickers are coming un-stuck under the hook. I also would like to maybe paint the front core and i cant unless I mask off the stickers or I will loose them.

If I had a sticker that was OEM quality I could replace the worn/torn stickers under my hood and keep it fresh looking.

If you do it go the extra mile to make them meet GM standard so you can get the offical GM restoration parts ID on them. Also offer them in Diff colors too.

I would be in for a set of door jamb stickers. Both stickers in the drivers jamb have the vin on it , can you offer identical replacments . By underhood you mean the emissions label ?

the stickers under the hood are already re-made.. they pop up on ebay once in awhile..

On ebay, I have seen the 93 Ty under hood sticker but no Syclone stickers.

I bought the 93 Typhoon emissions label when it was on ebay , but when I look at it . It only says syclone on it . What is the diff between the 2 ?

I have mine still on the wax paper it comes on , here is a scan of it to get one reproduced (the red is on the wax paper to tell where the label edge is ). The manufacturers door jamb sticker looks hard to remake with the printed info on the label but the pas label looks easy . When are you looking to start this project ??

I'll have to look at my original one, but I think the reason it says Syclone is because of the "Syclone motor" that powers the Typhoon.

good call , I meant though , that luckily because it said syclone it would work for my syclone.

If only it didnt say 1993 on it , it would be correct .

Did anything ever come of this?

I really need the PAS VIN sticker int he door jam.
I can create something that is close but I'd like the real deal.

If nothing else, where can I have a "one off" made for myself?

might find them on e-bay. Not enough intrest to have a run of stickers.

Well, I doubt 1 in 7 trucks are going to get one. Much less if you print separate stickers for '91, '92, and '93.
