Rod Run - Pigeon Forge, TN

The fall Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, TN is Sept. 11 - 13. I plan to be there with one other Ty.

Anyone else going?

Early reservations recommended.

Well it's booked and across the street is too. And probably most places are full. So since it only takes a couple of hours to drive there for us my wife and I will probably ride up on Saturday. And if we find a spot stay the night. So I'll be on the look out for other Sy's and Ty's.

I'll be there Jim. I'll get up with you up there. If I still have the TY I'm gonna bring it. A guy that say's he know's you is interested in it but don't know if anything will come of it, if not I'll be bringing it.

Looks like about 4 trucks in all. It's coming down to the wire for me. I have some critical things to complete in the next few days but looks likely that I will be there. You guys want to take a cruise Saturday moring? Since the morning is about the only time you can actually go anywhere. Maybe drive up to Gatlinburg for breakfast and/or to the top of the mountian at Obear Gatlinburg.

Well I glad I'm not the only one to complete things before I go. I have got order I/C pump, put heater hoses on, finish undercoating back half, re-primer fender cladding, put I/C system back on, put inner fenders back in and put fender cladding and front bumper back on. But I WILL be there Saturday morning say about 9-10 am.

Well since this my first Rod Run outing I don't know how to compare others. But, I loved it and am ready for April to roll around next year. I saw a stock Black Ty and my friend saw a white Ty with aftermarket wheels before I got there Friday night. I had just pulled into the parking lot where we were staying when a car pulled in behind me and a guy got out and ask how much and said sorry NFS. Later went to the store and someone else wanted to buy my Ty, not used to having people do things like that. Sorry you could come but next year will be here soon enough.

If you guys are doing this again please post it again. There was no way i couldve made this one but I would love to go to the next one. Maybe I could get some of the TN guys to ride out too.

The Grand Rod Run is every spring and fall. We also take the SyTy's to the Auto Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the spring.

Ive been to the fall rod run before but it was a long time ago and i dont remember seeing any Sy/Ty's. How many usually go?

It varies but usually not many...3 - 4. But we want to get a good turnout started. We'll try to pull more together next year.

P.S. Go Vols, Beat Gators this weekend.
