Running rough

92 Ty has a lumpy idle no fault codes present- does anyone think it could be plug wires?
Can anyone tell me when the ic pump comes on and can one bypass it to run all the time.

Lumpy idle is normal. But, a SyTy eats plug wires, so put on a set with some plugs and cap/rotor and see if it helps. On the stock chip mine missed really bad at idle, the whole truck would shake a bit. With the Ultimate chip, idle is almost perfectly smooth (well... pretty damn good for a 4.3 with no balance shaft).

Stock IC pump comes on at around 180 degrees coolant temp, if I remember correctly. You can ground the IC pump relay to run all the time. Check some websites or search this forum... it's been covered many times.

For the IC you can ground the yellow wire that comes out of the IC pump relay on the firewall. There should be a ground real close to it. It's the relay on the left of the two on the firewall directly behind the IC. This grounds out the pump so that it runs all the time.

You should read the syty readme and syty faq located at the lefthand side of this page.
