both of the seat belts in my syclone are screwed up. i checked www.sytyauthority.net for a part number and also searched the archives but could not find one. Are there any ones that would work out of a s-10 or blazer? thanks.

Yeah I had those part#s at one time.

They are the same seatblets out of any S-Series of the same years.
Mainly you want charcoal color thats the only specific.

........................
Found em.

Front Belts are listed as P and D
D - 15662803
P - 15662804

Rear Belts are listed as LH - RH
LH - 15662789
RH - 15662790

List is $92 each so I'd be checking boneyards or something.
Merk had some for sale at one time which I was supposed to buy, but he lost them, or at least thats what he told me.
Maybe he sold them to someone else and forgot about me, who knows.

I still need the front belts if you find any extras.

Re: seat belt part #'s

F$*&! Called up the local dealer for replacement seat belts and retractor. Drivers side is discontinued. Passenger side is $163! I guess I need to hunt junk yards for them or try to fix them both. I wonder if I can just use any retractor and keep the belts I have. The belts are mint condition.

Being in CT, you might be able to get them out yourself with a good torx bit and a breaker bar, but if I were hunting for a set up in the great rusty north, I'd call the junkyard and have their whilstle-bag parts puller yank them for me for an additional $20. They either come out, or you torch 'em.

Re: seat belt part #'s

When I tried to order them Dal wanted my VIN and then came back and said the same thing one was discontin. and the other was some ridiculous price.

He said because it was as safety item he could nto sell me the reg Jimmy seat belts for bucket seats, but in my eyes they "should" be the same.

Your best bet is gonna be finding someone parting out a SyTy.
I tried buying Merk.s when he redid his Ty but he sold them out from under me. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Use a charcoal S-10 belt and be done with it.

I don't really need the belt, just the retracting mechanism. I'm not even sure if they come apart.....

They don't. A seatbelt is one of those things you don't want to take apart, then hope it works the next time you need it, like a Briggs & Scrapmetal lawnmower.

Re: seat belt part #'s

Went online to a gm parts website and they claim to have the driver's side, but not the passenger side. Yet when I go to the GM dealer they have the passenger side, but not the driver's side. Hopefully they are right and I can get one from each place as a last resort. I called a local junk yard and they might have one, they are checking. Probably is going to be wrong color anyway. I checked another yard and they don't have it. :banghead:

Anyone have a setup and pics of aftermarket belts? Like in the marlboro?

Re: seat belt part #'s

I'd like to replace mine with one of the units that has a fixed floor belt and only a retracting shoulder portion with the buckle that slides on the belt. Have to look around and figure out what vehicle I can pull those out of.
