Anybody have issues with there lines leaking, where the plastic meets the metal fittings. Mine is getting Alcohol everywhere

You definitely don't want that. You can try cutting the worn part of the line off ( if there is one) and reconnecting it. That usually does the trick. Otherwise you may have to get a new fitting for it. Which part is leaking?

Seems like the fittings for the tank, and going into the pump, the fittings are kinda janky. Just went to laniers and got 5 gallons, and can't even use it

It happens. I would just replace the fittings and call it a day. Snow is in Woodland Park FWIW.

Not to highjack the thread but I just bought a snow kit for the GN and want to mount the tank in the trunk. Anyone see any issues with this?

Ideas where I can get the plastic hose? I'm thinking whistler, but they closed...

got replacement hose from home depot. Its stuff for a refrigerator, but it will work for now. this it what it looked like

That doesn't look good, how long have you had the kit installed before this happened?

I just recently installed one and was wondering how well that hose holds up especially if you run 100% meth?

Were you running 100% meth?

for the last few months, yes, 100%. The leaking issue was the stupid slip joint connectors, the hose needs nice straight connections, nothing pulling on them. The issue picture is still yet unknown. i believe it may have been a fire...I did have smoke while auto-X racing it last sunday...

if you ever need line or fittings for that go to the McCandless International dealership on Garden of the gods & 1-25 by Mikes house . Will have everything you need if ever in a pinch .

this is how i ran the lines with nice flowing bends straight into the connectors, and with a test flight up the interstate, everything seems to be good now. no more leaks.

Edit: Also it cost $3 to buy 25ft of this hose. Ill let you know how long it lasts

If that's polyethylene hose it's going to last about 5 minutes.

You need to order Nylon hose if you can't find it locally.

I wouldnt run that hose Ron. I might have some left over, I'll see when I get home.
