Ok maybe a dumb question. But do you have to use water in a W2A IC? I know that the alcohol used on race cars actually pulls heat away from things that it is touching (like your hand, which makes it feel cold) Wouldnt that still apply with boost? So instead of keeping the water or the air as cold as possible use something that pulls the heat away from the boost.

There are a lot of people already running an alcohol/water mix in W2A IC system.

not not collecting just ic parts, just random parts i find at a good deal for the Ty i dont have yet...

but i do have lots of clamps, bends, and connectors that i *will* use

I thought you had a Sy or Ty? My misstake, so do you know where i can find IC hoses for a decent price. I'm going to need just some short ones to connect the tubing to the IC and one that goes from compressor outlet 2" to 2.5" piping?

nope, no Ty yet...sadly.
regarding the hoses, i get some Black 3 ply reinforced rubber hose for intercooler pipe connections from a place called RRE. you probably know of the from your DSM experience..

go to:
http://www.roadraceengineering.com/hoseandclamps.htm

then look for Nitrile/SBR Rubber Hose at the bottom.

for the one that goes from the compressor to a 2" just use a piece of your 2" that you have already, put it inside the 2.5" and tighten the bitch down with a tbolt.
this saves you 22+dollars for a reducer.
worked great for my gsx's stock IC which is 2" to my new UICP which is 2.5"
