Re: Sonoma GT 0334 - Build Pics

Good Evening All,

What a weekend. Stopped by Rad Rides on Saturday to see the progress on the car there building
to compete for the Riddler Award. Wow is all I can say I promise I will post pics next week.

Okay back to the update.
Mocked up the interior to see what it would look like.
My Goal is to make it look like a Factory Prototype

2007_03_03_002.jpg

The Factory Seats have been recovered in Leather & Suede.

Billet Door Sills - I Also have Billet Sill Plates to protect the paint.
Working on an Idea for the Side Bar.

Quick Shot of the Dash.
The Dash will be leaving tomorrow morning to get body worked and painted.

Ordered some parts from Lokar to compliment the Interior

Door Handles - I was going to go black but i need to get an accent color in the door panel

Cable releases for the door latch.

Inside door handle pulls.

Billet "Black" Gas Pedal. It compliments the Wilwood brake pedal nicely.

I want to thank Eric at Lokar for helping me out.

That's all - Have a great weekend.

Paint the cage to match the body, then wrap them with 3m tape to protect from scratches

its quiet..........if you listen closely you can hear nothing....

Now that is Funny.

Actually went to Detroit last weekend and looked at some incredible cars.

Currently the Dash & Dash Surround are at the body shop getting body worked and primed. Should be picking them up on Friday. This weekend plans are to take it apart and put it all back together again.

Good Morning All,

The truck is going back together yet again and waiting to get loaded in the trailer to head over to the body shop.
Put the Cab back on Saturday Afternoon in between errands and go-cart racing.

Working on the new Dash Layout.
Looks like I may change the Gauge color and go silver background instead.

2007_03_07_010.jpg

Tom was kind enough to send me all my material to match my seats.

That is what's left of 2 really big Cow's

The Guy's over at Body Language smoothed the Dash and put a coat of paint on it to protect it.

Ordered the new headliner from LMC Truck.
The new headliners has an ABS backing instead of the flimsy foam backing.

Re: Sonoma GT 0334 - Build Pics

I would post pics on the site if I ever figured out how to
icon_redface.gif

My pics are on the website in my sig. I put the crank pulley, powersteering pump, and waterpump on tonite for the final time.
How did your alt fit on yours? Everything fit great till the short alt bolt, the angle on the bridge bracket was wrong so the alt wouldn't fit so I had to grind the bridge bracket a touch.
Well we can talk later, look at the pics in my sig, someday I will create a thread for my truck. Probably once I get the truck to my work before I put the engine back in, hopefully a month away once I get all my customers done.

Good Morning All,

Ron Wilson & I have been toying around with the Idea of a custom set of Skuff plates for hood pins.
Ron drew up the design with some direction from me.

Then Mike Renz Introduced me to the Guy's at Fabritek
Right out of the Gate these guy's said they would love to work with us.
Fabritek Co. Inc. Your one stop machine and fabrication shop.

Here is the design we came up with -- tell me what you think.
