I don't want to bust your balls or anything - but you need to do a little reading on what to look for.
Watts = how much power (essentially) the speaker can handle. However, this isn't always going to be totally true. I'd say more speakers are cooked because of distortion - not being over driven from the headunit. An underpowered head unit will clip (overdriven) sending distortion to the speaker. You are better off providing more power to a speaker than not enough to get the same volume.
With that said....
Sensitivity Ratio - how loud will a speaker play with 1 watt @ 1 meter - measured in db. This is for all practical purposes - how efficient a speaker is. So a speaker that plays @ 93db will play louder than a speaker that is rated at 87db. A double in power - causes an increase of 3db. So at 2 watts - in theory those two speakers will play @ 96db and 90 db - respectively.
So..................
Your better off listening to speakers and making a decision on that - not on a spec sheet. If I remember correctly that receiver was pretty well powered. That's a whole 'nother topic as far as how receiver power is rated.
I'm not saying not to buy online - but listen in person. Everyone has their own taste as to what sounds good.
