The 3 bar map originally comes from a turbo TA. Call the dealership and ask if it's in stock.

called up the dealer and they wanted $138 and some change. with my discount it dropped it to $117 and some change. for get that!, i ended up finding a local speed shop who wanted $75 for one. same new part # (12223861). guy asked me if i found it somewhere else cheaper and i said, yes, RPM for $65 and the guy said he would sell it for $65

Re: state inspection help?

I believe only the VALET setting on the 50# Ultimate Chips is Closed Loop. The other 15 settings are Open Loop and will not only likely fail emissions, but also can cause permanent damage to the catalytic converter. This is per the Ultimate Chip instructions. So give the Valet/Closed Loop setting a try.

I don't know you well enough to say that you're "in over your head" but you definitely got your hands full there, no doubt about that. With a highly modded truck, state inspection, and unknown parts, unknown tune..... Good luck!!

Tooky, Wasn't there a change in the new 3 bar map wiring? Seem like some wires in the plug needed to be swap around. If I recall correctly the change took place about 3 years ago.
