Steering wheel bolt pattern

Is the 6 bolt steering wheel bolt pattern the same for the Momo steering wheel as it is for the stock steering wheel?

The reason I ask this is because I don't like the accordian style plastic adapter Momo uses. It reminds me of the steering wheel look on a cheap arcade racing game.

The stock wheel mounts to the column via a splined shaft and a single, lerge nut. Not sure what you find if you disassemble the steering wheel.

I think thats why there is an adapter.

The MoMo wheel will not bolt right up.

Everyone I know that uses a MoMo wheels has the accordion style adapter.
I hate them too, and have looked for alternatives.
There are none, other than make your own out of a piece of billet.
Momo is less than helpful.
i tried both the USA and Italy divisions and no one was any help.
