Stock Injectors

I did a search but nothing useful came up so I was wondering if I needed to remove the upper intake to get the fuel rail off and change out the stock injectors. Also, are any special tools needed to complete this job or hints :drinking: other than don't brake anything? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

the upper does not have to come off. neither does the TB. just remove the IC for easier access.
