I have a few qestions about the stock turbo on the st-ty. Please correct me if I am wrong. It is a 17c with a stock wastegate pressure of 7psi. I also would like a compressor map. Thanks in advance. Eric

Yes, a Mitch TD06-17c with 8 cm2 exhaust housing. The "base" pressure for the stock WG is 10 psi. Here is a compressor map:

BTW. Try to use the search function. All of these questions were already answered a hundred times.

yes you can lower the pressre by making the wg rod longer. ie turning the rod out.

Eric do you realize what a tuning nightmare that will be putting a turbo on your Berreta? If you are truly thinking of doing that I would get a hold of my friend, he is possibly going that way with his drag Grand Am and he knows some people that could help you out. His website is www.killerquad4.com oh and make sure you add his site to your links :D Good luck hopefully you will have good luck with it.
Are you planning on using a stock syty turbo for your motor? Thats going to be a ton of lag in my opinion, I would go with a dsm turbo if you want low boost and good spool up.

I have talked to killerquad4 before at geat lakes dragaway. I know this has been done a few times with the quad 4. There is a guy on the beretta board that has a LO quad 4 with a turbo. He ran 14.0 @ 100mph with a junkyard setup. He used a tec 2 for tuning. I im also trying to find one for my car. As far as turbo lag I have a high compresson motor so it shouldnt be to bad.

So you are from milwaukee too. Cool. I picked up a 90 Turbo Grand Prix this weekend (the 3.1 v6 turbo). I plan on dropping that engine into my cavalier as something to do. Maybe I'll see ya at gld in the spring.
