Suspension Q's

I've been trying to adjust the suspension on my truck and I'm running into a few problems.

1). I bought my Ty with 2" blocks in the back. I swapped them out for 1" blocks which improved the ride drastically. I've noticed that the Ty is now leaning towards the drivers side. The gap between the rear wheel well and the tire is about 1/2" smaller on the drivers side than the passenger side. Is there any way to adjust the "D height"? (My service manuals are in my truck but I beleive this is the proper term for the rear ride height.) I have seen the specs in the manual but they don't seem to give a way to alter them. I have the original leaf springs in the back and new shocks.

2). My truck also had an ATR sway bar installed. The end links on the bar appear way too long now and I seem to recall that they need to be changed when changing the ride height. Do I need a set that are an inch shorter? Is it possible the two problems are related (the sway bar making the truck lean)?

Thanks,

I dont know what is causing your prob but I would guess it is the leafsprings. Good ol' GM springs always have a tendency to sag. I have the same problem though with leaning in the rear to the driver side but my Ty isn't lowered at all. Anyone else have any suggestions besides teh leaves themselves??

Couple o' things.

Mine was leaning also. First, I'd check the front measurement also. Maybe a tightening up on the driver side torsion bar is needed. On mine, I put in my approximate weight in the driver seat while I adjusted the bars as to let the vehicle be level with me seated in it. This fixed the front and rear lean.

One or more of the rear spring leafs might be cracked or just worn out.

Also check the sway bar mounting and/or links as you have mentioned. It might be preloading the rear suspension.
