Sy 269

My folks are on vacation in Palm Springs, and dad decided to check out an auto auction. McCormack, or something like that. #0269. Said he couldn't get the mileage, but was real 'Purdee'. If he gets a sale price, I'll update.

Nice that he knows what to look for for my hobby.
He met someone with a black Ty a few years ago down there, but didn't get any info on it (i.e.,year -vin).

Re: Sy 269

There was a Sy and 93 Ty, neither sold, it says they both have 50k miles listed. Highest bid for the Sy was $11,250, and for the Ty $8,600.

There was also an auction last week in Pomona for Mecum, had a 92 Ty 34k miles, and a really clean Sonoma gt

These trucks just don't get the love. It amazes me to see ragged, old trucks with anemic inline 6 cylinder engines and 3 speed manual transmision go for more. Patina is the new trend.
