I was down in Tegucigalpa, Honduras doing some missionary work and I saw parked in a lot a black Syclone. It looked for sale and had Honduras plates. Does anyone know the owner down in Honduras or have heard of a Syclone owner down there?
After I left the lot, I thought about the VIN. It is just real hard to take a picture through the glass and I didn't have a pen and paper. I'll try to e-mail my friend down there to see if he will go back and get it.
wow... last place you would think to see a sy. a few years back, my sister was stationed in Guam and called me up saying she left my info on a syclone at the base. sure enough, the guy called me...he was looking to sell it before he got back to the US.
Dude, thats how they want you to feel. Don't give in to their mind games. That would be nice if this turned out to be a recovered stolen SY. Id love to see a rightful owner get his truck back. Could they get plates easily down there if it were stolen?
I tried to find the distance to Mapquest it but Mapquest won't let me do it :rotf: I know a few people from Guadamala and went they use to drive down there it took them a week to get there.
If you have friends there, it is worth looking into it.
At least to get the VIN to see if it is stolen from the states.
The Honduras money isn't worth much and gasoline is expensive. This truck could be real cheap. Honduras has shipping companies that use containers that port in Florida daily.
