I'm looking for a no motor/trans sy. Even if it has miles and is somewhat rough. Would like to have one of each.

Re: Sy

Not sure who's it would be. She likes both. Ty motor is still sitting. I am waiting for scat to get more cranks done. Then bend over so the machine shop can dry run me. Holy shit, machine work is salty!!. Anyway, it's too late to get something together right this season and I have a list of other stuff to do on it so no hurry. I've beenhelping my friend with a 78 C-10 he got a super chevy. We have to transplant his 355 from his monza into it. He said I can run it around if I get jonesn'.

Re: Sy

Tell me about it,when I had the 408 built for my prostreet nova,I spent more on the machine shop/labor than I had to spend on the internal parts.
You'll have to come down and see the new chevelle sometime.

Re: Sy

Yeah I'll get a hold of you. The wife and I leave on the 16th for the Bahamas for a week. As far as the cost I know what you me. $400 for crank and 4 bolt caps, 500 to install and line bore. $175 for pistons and rods, 250 to bore. This sucks, although I was warned these trucks and going fast wasn't cheap. Should of stuck with building models, atleast they are cheap.
