How can you tell that. I see 2 pics and neither shows a grille shot.

Nice investment. 24K purchase and 25K miles later, selling for 19K less. Bet if someone went there with cash, $4K takes it. I own a home on the RI shore but it does not need a Sy in need of help. I go to the beach for bikini clad babes, not to work on a Sy.

I was thinking front bumper support/cover, which the owner found out that will run him close to a grand to replace, so the cheap price and the "needs restoration".

Ok guys, here's the deal.

The truck needs a front grill, rear tailgate and interior carpet. While in storage (since 2001 due to the owner breaking his back), someone stole the custom $4000 stereo set-up he had installed. He has the original radio which will go with the truck. Some light rust on the cab corners (so that puts me out of the purchase possibility). Guy seems honest and quite nice. He is gonna send me better pics and I can post them.

Were it not for the rust, this truck would be coming here as well but I am a lil' picky about what I buy and what I pass on. It also has some surface rubbing where the cladding meets the body (common and not too big of an issue if not left undone).

He said the motor is almost new (3000 miles) and the oil is still crystal clear. Was replaced under GM warranty right before he broke his back.

Could be a wise buy for someone IMO since it can be driven right now. Original wheels are on the truck with the original firehawks but they are dry rotted pretty bad he said with marginal tread.

The replacement motor is almost guaranteed to have the wrong compression. GM stopped supplying the correct cr motor somewhere in 97/8.

I talked to the owner also. Shaun already posted most the details. Grill was broken while truck was being pushed. Owner removed it. Tailgate is rusted. Headliner and carpet removed and gone. He says no dents on truck but needs paint. Perfect seats Owner says no trades.

Ah yes, I forgot about the headliner. He stated it was sagging from being in storage.

He is also convinced if he spent $800-1000 in parts to restore the truck (he can prep/paint it himself), the truck would sell for $12000-13000 very easily. I just said "uh-huh" and rode the wave ;).

Cladding looks to be painted with bluish "Syclone" stickers on the doors.
