Try posting in the "How to Mod and repair" section.

How do you know it has gas?
First to check are the fuses.

Did you check the fuses? If so, what did you find?

Tell me what your Check engine light does when you turn the key to the on position, but not start.

No but being able to make sentences that make sense and the ability to spell all the words correctly has.

Ok... Lets get this topic back on track....

If your ecm crapped like mine did, when you turn the key to the "on" position the check engine light will flash on and then stay off. Normally it will flash and then stay on.

Dealboy- I am gonna put this bluntly. You MUST have a sense of humor to get anywhere on the board. Just be careful not to get in a pissing match with the smart-asses on this board. The same smart-asses who give you a little shit when you misspell something are the same guys who can sometimes really help you out of a jam. Some smart-asses are also Dumb-asses when it comes to anything On-Topic.

On Topic. If yo are not getting spark you have won half the battle. Some auto places can test the module. If you replace the module I would recommend GM. Most of the cheapie Autozone types can caue trouble or have a short lifespan. Coil and most other ignition parts can be tested with a ohmeter and the service manual. If you do not have the good Sy specific manual--Get it. Use a logical testing order to find the problem. Do the easy things first then methodically go through the rest.

Sorry Dealboy. I admit being a smart ass. I goof up, and misspell stuff all the time. On the other hand, good spelling and punctuation can help get a message across in this media, where there are no verbal or visual cues to aid the messenger.

Sy769 has you on the right track. Pickup coil, ignition module, and wiring to distributor and coil are suspect. The ignition module can be replaced without removing the distributor. The distributor must be removed to change the pickup coil. If you have the distributor out, it's also a good time to verify the timing marks with top dead center.

If you have not gotten your truck going yet, I support the others and suggest that you look at each thing in your ignition system. Make sure that you are getting 12 volts to your distributor. If you are not getting 12 voltes to your distributor, try hot wiring it to see if it will start. Do not forget to check inside your distributor. I had the rotor bug just fall apart (the rivet that held the brass pointer fell off). The engine would not run.

Good luck.

put the ignition module in the dist. today and it fired right up. took a ride with my new autometer boost gauge installed and it was between 12-13 lbs. is that ok for a stock 140k syclone?
