It's a very simplistic VIN decoder aimed at production SyTy's. It checks a few basic things and lists if they don't match up with what a SyTy should have.

I'm not guaranteeing this to be 100% accurate, but this should point out any major flaws based on just your VIN (i.e. S-truck rather than T-truck, wrong year, wrong engine, etc.).
The script just does simple mathematical checks on the VIN. I don't record them or do a Carfax lookup or anything like that. http://www.f-body.org/oldfaq/html/vins/checkdig.html has info about computing the check digit and http://syclone.invisibill.net/s_vin.png is a breakdown of S-series VINs.
