me and my buddy were in his 97 s-10 which runs about a 15.3. but we saw a sy on L street this one day. i wanted to get beside him and check it out and maybe have a little chat with him about his truck. we finally got out to the front of the traffic where he was cruising about 50. we were just getting up to him when he apparently saw us creeping up beside him and he took off. my buddy thinking my syty obsession is a big pointless joke kept on it thinking he could keep a decent distance but that was the real joke. besides that theres quite a few in omaha. theres a black beat up one in my neighborhood that ive only seen in the winter all primered up and without a front bumper and the back window covered with stickers. there was a nice white one for sale not to long ago but im sure someone bought it already. theres a teal one running around too. a couple more solid blacks also. only seen two sy though. if you live in omaha and are an owner or have stories just drop a line. peace.

it seems that no one in omaha is really that much of an enthusiasts. just owners. i know most of them dont realize or care what they have. from what ive seen only one person from nebraska is even on any syty sites. oh well. when i get one ill be on here.

Well, I guess I didnt research enough, there were things that happened that could have been prevented if i'd had known what i do now... 5 years later. :x

i doubt i will be getting one anytime soon. when i do get one it will be well worth it and i wont buy one with over 80k miles and it must be stock. ive heard lots of horror stories about people buying high mileage sytys that have been modified. if anyone is going to modify a ty and have me trust it, it will only be my parents shop.

Nice to hear of another Nebraska sytyer. I live in Lincoln and was cruising up to WinneVegas about a month ago when I saw a white one in Omaha. A black male was driving and we drove side-by-side for about a mile on I-80. Then he had to turn off so that was over. Looked like it was in excellent shape, but I would have to agree.....No enthusiasts around these parts. Come down to Lincoln sometime and give me a call...we'll cruise around. Actually, I was thinking of coming up to Omaha one of these weekends to whip some import shit. Pm me your number and we'll meet up. Later man!

Hell yeah. As for right now all the imports who think their car is bad have goneaway for the cold. Thatd be the shit to meet up. You do know I dont have a truck I hope. Theres a kid in my neighborhood with a ty but its a beater. Have you seen theres a ty in your parts with 18k miles on it. Its sellin for 42k. Ill keep in touch though man. Got to run for now.

My brother and I have one. It was the one you saw for sale probably. We don't drive it much. About 1000 miles in the last year. It has 17,000 on it now.

you are one lucky dude. if i had the money id buy that in an instant. if the one i saw is yours, i really like the white painted roof rack. in the past half year ive seen yours and another white one in counciul bluffs that was for sale. i know where theres half of a 92 for sale. not sure if its worth it though. it got hit hard and has nothing strictly syty except for the motor. but if i get the money for it, its mine anyways. yours is the lowest mileage one on autotrader. make sure when you do sell it its to someone who will take care of it. not that it matters, but why are you sellin it. if i were to buy any syty right now it would be yours.

i am friends with the kid in lincoln who has the white 93 with 18000 on it. i went to high school with him. he's not really selling it, he just thought about it a while ago and would see if anyone wanted to pay that much. he'd sell it if someone offered him that, but it's not realistic so he doesn't mind hanging onto it. sounds like we got a group from these parts starting here. glad to hear it. seems like everyone else on this board is from the east coast. we gotta get together sometime. email me at cliffey83@neb.rr.com when any of you guys get a chance. it would be great to meet you and look at our trucks. i live in the northeast part of lincoln so my house is always open to sytyers. drop me an email. later guys

That price is actually realistic. Try to find another ty with that low of mileage. Is it stock? If its stock its definatley worth it. The lowest mileage Ive ever seen was 12k and they were selling it for like 25.9 I think. Which if I had the money, Id buy your buddies ty up instantly. Some other dude on here was trying to sell his ty with 115k for 20k. :x But thats not important. Im kind of amazed at how many sytyers have came out of the cracks in the past week. That kicks ass.

yea, it's all stock. for some reason, i don't know why, the mirrors and door handles are painted white, not black like everyone elses. I'm not sure if it's been repainted or what. He bought it about a year ago from a guy in Chicago i think. This summer, he shot a rod and had the engine redone to stock, but that's about it. It looks kickass, as you can tell from the autotrader pic, but i think it's still overpriced. But if you truly love these and want one with low miles, i guess it's the price to pay. That's why he doesn't really care if it sells or not, he'll still have fun with it. All these sytyers are great, i love to hear this. We gotta get you a ty though!!!!

my dad had it since 99, and i bought it from him 3 months ago...he moved on and grew up. he didn't want this anymore, so i sold my truck and got it......everyone told me not to but i haven't regretted a day yet.

I think if any more people from NE post on here maybe a little nebraska chapter should be started. I know theres quite a few people in Omaha that have sytys, but most arent even on here. I know of at least 3 tys and 1 sy that run around. One being some guys sy that runs 11s. If I see anymore owners Im gonna start telling them to check out this site. Its more of a problem to get the people who dont know/care what they have on here. If any of you know of any owners try to get them on here.
