You are DEEE MANN!! The cladding was as near a match as I could expect from the paint shop but I foresee a complete repaint sometime late this year anyway. This truck will be showroom quality and running consistent 11's when all the dust settles....at least that is my goal :). Thanks for all your time and effort with this. It puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.

I thought you sold the truck?

Have a deposit on it from a soldier in Iraq who won't be back until Sept-Oct timeframe. Entertaining thoughts of asking him if I can refund his deposit and keep the truck. Didn't need to sell it in the first place but for all practical purposes, it has a new home in the near future :(.

:werd: No 2009 ZR1?

We had allocation for 2 through a special AAFES military purchase program but when I went to make a sizeable deposit, we found out you have to be active duty to participate. I retired a couple years ago so if I want one through the local GM dealer, I have to pay invoice plus a yet to be determined exclusivity mark-up, rumored to be $30,000+. They are a great machine but I am not signing up to an open clause contract. Might just settle for a Z06 instead. With the ZR1 coming out and gas prices climbing like a wild grape vine, the Z06's are selling for around $8,000 under MSRP. I'll have something trick by June to share with the community

Well, if the rest of your stable is any indication, I'm sure it won't disappoint

Looking forward to finding out what it'll be; keep us posted
