I remembered seeing one of these a long time ago when I was visiting a buddy of mine that works at a Chevrolet dealership, but it never occured to me............until I saw this on E-Bay:

Anyone ever consider using one as a temporary fuel cell (to eliminate slosh) for racing? Or as a permanent cell for those drag only trucks? Doubtful that the latter would be practical since the pump probably won't support anything more than a lightly modded truck. Hafta rob a connector and wire it up, but that's no biggee. Could even be real tricky and incorporate a tank selector valve (dual tank fullsize trucks, etc....), a separate relay to toggle power between this pump & the stock pump, and integrate the whole thing into the stock system. Hmmmm.......
Dunno if this is practical or how much the tank holds, but it's neat nonetheless.
