more power is quicker. Ive been out of the game for a while, so things could have come along that i am not aware of, but last I knew a 3bar isnt possible without rescaling the fueling tables.
All sensors on this bitch operate on a 5v signal, map included. Means that 0V comes to represent max vaccuum, 2.5V represents atmosphere pressure, and 5v is 15psi of boost. A 3bar means 0V=max vacuum 2.5V=7PSish and 5V=31PSI. Without rescaling the tables that reference that voltage it will not run.
The table ends at 14.7boosties stock, and you can push it a little past that if your feisty, but it will be leaner the farther you go, and in the long run isnt a great way to do it.
To rerespond to your original post id say leave it alone if you are running a higher octane fuel. The timing wont be effected enough to matter, but you will get the benefits of a fuel that wont precombust. This would be advantageous if you are doing a lot of runs in a day and the intercooler gets heat soaked. You could possibly gain power with a diztwist, but it would be under 10hp of gains. Global timing changes dont jive well with this system, as the changes effect regular driving and starting too.
