Seeing most of the centeral florida guys have been rather lacking when it comes to meets.. (

) I'm thinking about heading out to OSW Friday November the 4th. (I'm also waiting on some f-body boys around here to pick a date and stick with it about going to Gain's too.)

I dont care if any one else runs their truck or not. Just wondering if maybe we can have a little orlando meet there and then get something to eat after. (I dont plan on staying at the track until it closes unless for some crazy reason I'm stuck in the 12's still..

This date is a test and tune night in Gain's as well. So its either track. If no one wants to go I might head up to Gain's. :dunno:

Sweet Chirstian. Do you care which track we go to, or do you wanna kinda stay close to your house?

I'm going to call my friend at the chevy dealer and see if he can get a few guys to go. I'll keep this updated.

:) not from FL. but i will be down there that weekend and it would be nice to see what you guys are running down there but i don't know where it is can i have an address or something so i could print a map or something

if you goto gainesville i'll be there, might be in the shiotty neon, but there no less.

Edit:

hmmm, or i could always run the truck down the track without the front clip, what about 200lbs. saved... :lol: :lol: it's got half a tank of 1.80/gallon gas i need to get out of it
still has the rad support/head lights, wonder if it could run in the street class.

Im out for awhile... gonna get ready to do a TC swap in the sy and a few other misc things laying around that need to go in...

Although, I may cruise over in the TSX and hang... have to see... heh, wonder what I can 60' the TSX at, hmm...

heh.. ian is returning from Cali....hes out of the loop... also, he no longer lives in Oviedo, he just moved into his new house in Deltona. Still not that far away, but definately more of a drive for him.

We'll see... I may hold out on the Sy for a little longer and cruise it over there and look pretty while christian makes fun of me for not running it. this trans will be the death of me.

Adam, I'll make fun of you no matter what you do :)

I'm gonna try for the quickest stock turbo truck again, the 500 pound weight advantage over the old Sy should help immensely .. we'll see how long this trans will hold up though.

I got a voice mail from my friend at the chevy dealer later today. He said he's hoping to go. I'm going to call him tomrrow again and find out if its just going to be him or a few other guys. And to make sure they are all going to OSW and not Gain's.

I also sent off my meth pump to SMC today to have it replaced. I'm praying to god that it gets back here before the 4th so my truck can run right again and I can race.:tup:

i might come up to orlando friday if you guys are still planning on going, i havent got a chance to run my sy yet maybe this will be the day. im also looking forward to meeting some fellow syty owners. i havent met any yet i only talked to this guy daryl (or something) briefly on the phone he lives here in lantana, he has a sy and a ty, seemed like he knew what he was talking about. he has a cool job hes a helicopter pilot in atlantic city... anyways let me know if its still going down

I'm still in limbo until my meth pump comes back. I'm hoping it will come back before thrusday.

I'm getting a few other friends to go as well. One that just did a cam swap in his regular cab 1500 Chevy that he doesnt know what its going to run. (its really a nice looking truck.)

Would one of you guys mind bring a laptop and DM for me? I wanna see what the trucks doing down the strip. That'd be cool if one of you can. ;)

As of yesterday the pump still hadnt came back yet. :roll: I'll give it until tomorrow mid afternoon before I give up on the track.

Well.. I'm still waiting on it. :roll:

Steve at SMC is replacing the tank as well, he said it was in bad shape. So I cant bitch to much about it taking a little longer seeing I'm getting that for free.. :dunno:

But the week that bably comes back I'll test it in the truck again and if everythings up and running I'll be at the track within that week. Your truck ready to run Tyson? You should come on up. I wanna see the boost gauge hit 30 :lol:

You meet DARIEL. Very nice guy and very knowledgable. He comes to our events often and hangs out. Both are his trucks are beautiful.
