I tried the search function and can't find a good answer to my question so....
I have a 83' 4wd S-10 blazer that I'm converting to a V8. The 4wd portion has been non-functional for years and I was going to yank out the front diff and transfer case ect.(change to 2wd 700r4) to have more room for headers ect. But now I'm considering the benifits of AWD. So my basic question is how much power can the AWD transfer case handle and which should I use? I don't know if there is a difference between SyTys or Bravada cases. I built a 383 LT1 for the truck that I expect around 400h.p. and 450 ft.lbs from before I spray it. T.I.A.
