Good to know about.
2 thoughts about it....
1.) It'll cost you a bunch more than running a used LT1 transmission package (mostly because its new). I bet you could do a good used setup for $1500 (which would roughly correspond to the 475hp package). The 650hp package does have some upgraded internals, don't know what the $$$ difference is between it and a LT1 spec trans are.
2.) Still doesn't look like there is any provision to utilize a transfer case, so if you're looking at 4wd or AWD, this isn't a solution. I'd like it to be, but it isn't.
Keisler is a big distributor for Borg Warner / Tremec / whoever they are this week T56's and such.
They regularly advertise in some of the car rags, and last I saw had 9 different shifter mounting locations for the T56. Kinda neat.
