I got it to work finally, I just want it to datalog and check codes for now. The issue Im having is the screen where all of the readings are is very small, maybe an inch or so tall window. I have no clue how to make that window larger so I can view more than 3 readouts at once. How do you make it bigger?!?!

If you are talking about the monitors or dash window you should be able to mouse over the top and drag it up once your pointer turns to a double arrow..

You probably need to go to Tools->Preferences. Then you need to select "Use Plug-in" as the Interface Type. Below that you need to click on "Configure Plug-in Component" and select the Com port that your USB cable is being assigned to. If you don't know what port that is open your device manager and watch as you plug it in.. A new com port should show up under Ports when you plug it in..

You have to do this and then download the XDF and ADX files for our truck: http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm

Yeah, those windows. I tried to click the top of the window and drag the whole thing up but that didn't work. Your way DID work, so many thanks to you.
What size is your laptop screen?
Im using an Acer Aspire One netbook. Its small, but I use it to tune Mitsubishis easily. The window that popped up would only show 3 lines of items to view without scrolling up or down. Much better now.

In the tool-bar up top you need to single click the two blue horizontal arrows to "acquire data".. If yo are looking at the dash you should see the values snap to the correct position once that starts.. You can test this with the truck not running but key in the forward position. If you give it gas you should see your TPS values change..

If you haven't already I would suggest that you download and study the powerpoint slides referenced in this thread:

Re: Tunerpro help

In the bottom of the window, does it say "Ostrich connected"yet? Does it detect it ok when you open TunerPro?

Re: Tunerpro help

When hit that two blue arrows, yellow "DA: not connected" turns pink and reads" DA:connecting" but nothing happens...

Did you check the settings I mentioned above? Interface Type and Com port #?

Re: Tunerpro help

Yes I did and it says something like "cable found and ..." when hit test button.

Then I would take a volt-ohm meter and make sure you have connectivity from pin M of the ALDL connector to A9 of the ECM. Take a look at the top of this pic for reference:

Re: Tunerpro help

Thanks. I tested it and seems connect is ok. Tried with another ECM also and no, no result. There must be something wrong with settings or...?
Edit: I note that if hit blue arrows when ign. off, it turns immediatly back yellow "not connected" but if ign. on it keeps pink for a while...
