Tuneup???

Howdy all,

I’ve only owned my Sy since December. It normally sits in the garage and gets driven on weekends if the weather is nice. I’ve got it looking very nice on the outside, haven’t touched the engine yet. That’s the reason for this post.

Today on a short drive I now have a horrendous pause when going to WOT. If I ease into it everything seems normal.

Based on posts I’ve seen and just the obvious, I gonna start with; vac hoses, fuel filter, plugs (probably needs new wires also, I’m sure mine are original), air cleaner, ect.

What I don’t have, and don’t yet know how to accomplish, is any way to pull codes. Mechanical ability I got, pullin’ codes will be new..

So, Suggestions on where else to look/begin and what’s the best way to get and decipher codes. I don’t have a laptop.

Howdy Don :lol: No need for a laptop to pull codes... just print the pages out from the link below, grab a piece of speaker wire (or something that can hold current), then follow the instructions..
