Re: Turbo/ AWD 95-96 Sonoma....?
Guys screen name was davecalidad. I have a PM from him way back when he was selling this truck.

I got a little miffed with the "community" when NOBODY even jumped on the deal. Finally Chad Milam was all ready to buy it, "was going directly to his bank" and never bothered to even call and say the deal was off.
I finally said SCREW it and rebuilt a real nice engine for it and I'm putting it BACK together. I have over $25,000 into the truck as it stands NOW and that's in COST of components not including my LABOR.
It's hard to really say what my EXACT plans are at the moment. I'm tired of the tire kickers who want to compare this thing against their hi-mileage, starting to rust Grand National or SYTY, that has a stock drivetrain in it! It's just stupid. I'd like to see the average guy EVEN build one of these. I hate to sound arrogant but.. there's TONS of engineering in this truck, between driveshafts, wiring, parts bin engineering, rear sway bar fabrication, battery boxes, all of it!
You having done your own swap know what I mean.? (end quote)
