Gents,
I/we were asked a question in another post about turbo flanges. So I started a new one as not to be buried in another persons Great accomplishment thread. So here we go. I have loaded a few pics of flange/head unit for a PTE turbo. I will need to walk to the shop for a Buick Turbo flange/head unit later. The question was if a five bolt flange would work on a Syclone PTE housing? The answer I believe is No as there isn't enough room to re-bore the mounting holes and move it around. The flange pic that is loaded is an external gated one that RPM/Mike builds for these trucks and (if you are running inner fender wells it will have to be trimmed to fit). I also changed/cut the original head unit apart and made it a full 3 inch pipe. The as-built is necked down. I might be looking to sell both head units if any one needs one. The picture with the two turbo housings are a SyTy and a Buick housing with an adapter that used to be sold back in the day. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Bob
