Turbo Mount studs

Hey Guys -

Is there anything special about the Turbo mount studs ? I can't get them out of the old Exhaust Manifolds, so I need to get new ones for the ATR header mount plate. Neither ATR or PTE (-63) included studs that I can see.

They appear to be standard 3/8" Coarse thread, but a 3/8" bolt doesn't go in very far, but probably far enuf to be a stud. The headers R coated w Jet Hot.

i think those studs are heat treated, or something is done to them cause they cost $16 a piece at dealer.

I think they are 10 mm studs. Very close in size to 3/8".

they are actually quite eaasy to remove

use 2 of the nuts on a stud.
lock them together useing 2 wrenches

use one wrench against the nut closest to the manifold and the stud will turn right out.

i just had to replace mine. They are 36.7 mm long and the threads are 1.5 metric. I bout them from GM and all 4 only cost like10 or 12 buxs.
