Turbo my 96 or swap Sy/Ty?

I am researching the possibilty of a Sy/Ty engine or hybrid Sy/Ty/Vortec combo as an alternative to the 5.7 swap I have been getting ready to pull the trigger on for my '96 4.3L S10 4x4.

My research goal is to find out the most cost effective 450rwhp long block build I can come up with that will bolt into my truck and allow me to use my existing AC and accessories if possible.

For example, questions I would have; Would a full SyTy longblock bolt up into my truck? Do Sy/Ty exhaust manifolds bolt to my Vortec heads if I wanted to work on turbocharging my existing engine?

Right now I am just trying to figure out the long block combination that would be the most compatable with my truck and cost effective. I am not sure which components in my current engine can support that type of power (crank, pistons, rods), and I am not sure which SyTy engine parts are compatable with my later 4.3L.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
