turbo sizing stock converter?

Whats the biggest size turbo that would work well on the stock converter, direct fit bolt on. Some lag is ok but dont want it to be a dog either..Goal would be the biggest size wheels to fit in stock style housing.

My opinion, stock converter with up to 62mm wheel, .63 a/r but I'm no expert. Some lag but will feel it when it kicks in. There are some with 60-1 wheel, direct bolt on out there.

Doesn't surprise me. I've asked for flow chart and hp capabilities on some stuff and come up blank. The stock converter is around 2400 rpm. I've know of turbo builders going with 60-1 wheel into stock housing. You may want to research A/R size vs rpm as a starting point. Wheel size will matter but housing size dictates spool time.
