Turbonetics.?

I've been thinking new turbo to my truck and asked few sellers offers. Today I got offer for turbonetics turbo with these specs: 57mm turbine wheel .82 A/R internal gate. Compressor super v map:

BB or journal bearing.

TO4B is sort of older technology. Doesn't mean it won't work well. How much HP you want to make and what psi range? I have used about ever size of TO4B and E series of Turbonetics turbos on various engines.

Ok, thinking something like 400-450 hp. Maybe 18-20psi.

That would be pushing that T04B wheel pretty good. That's pretty much the max hp output of those. It's still a pretty good wheel though, used it on my turbod 3.5l Eclipse. But that exhaust turbine is pretty big and won't fully spool till about 2800-3000 rpm.

Get it with a smaller exhaust housing unless you have a higher than stock stall converter.

Actually I have +200 rpm stall converter. I'll try with that housing, let's see how it works.

Just run a 3" downpipe and it will spool pretty good.

Yes, I already have a wg housing with 3" v-band outlet. I'll fabricate custom dp.
