Hi, new Ty owner, haven't even received my truck yet, but have been looking and planning... Looks like thanks to covid, I won't be travelling at all this winter, and I run a seasonal business that is pretty slow in the winter, so I figured some kind of project to keep me out of trouble was needed.... The Typhoon has been sitting for about 2 years, so I plan on starting with all fluids, full tuneup (including verifying timing marks on balancer), and vacuum lines etc.... also planning on 3 Bar Map, wideband 02 setup and scanmaster G as well....

been starting to look into datalogging and tuning as well. what's the thoughts on turbotweak VeloSYTY chip VS the Ostrich 2.0 emulator route???

looking forward to this project to work on with my 12Yo son, have loved Syclones (and Typhoons) since reading the original Car and Driver Syclone vs Ferrari 348 back in the day.... haven't even received the truck yet and I already have received my personalized plates for it.... 1FASTSUV"

I would go Turbo Tweak, but get TunerProRT for logging so that you can keep a better eye on engine parameters.

I was planning on TunerProRt as well for sure, I am going to use a Scanmaster G in a pillar pod as well, and I think it is supposed to support bluetooth for datalogging? does anyone know if the blue tooth connection is any good to datalog to the laptop? or would it be better running a hardwired cable to the diag port?? any recommendations on the cable?? is there anything better than the Moates 'ALDU1 and CABL1' combo for interfacing to the laptop for data logging?
