There's two black 92's for sale in Omaha right now. This isn't a for sale ad, and I'm not going to post any sales info.
The first one is a black 92' as mentioned. It's #1103. 163,000 miles. Both fenders and both quarter panels are rotted out. Severe rust in the roof above the tailegate. Doors are junk, as well as the tailgate. Dash is cracked in multiple places, and it looks like the huge crack in the middle was from someone punching it. The rocker cladding on the passenger side is completely broken off.
Wheels are all curbed, missing front driverside wheel. The truck has been repainted in multiple spots. It appears to have been shotty rust repair in all cases. Windshield has been replaced, and the excess glue was not cleaned off from around the edges. Door stickers are incorrect, and "Typhoon" is painted in the tailgate, but the clear over the lettering is cracking off in chunks.
Seats are cracked and wrinkled. The lumbar dildo was laying on the floor with the hose broken off. Back seat looked great. The headliner was falling out, but the truck had what appeared to be a factory sunroof. I saw multiple cigarette burns on the seat sides and head liner. Truck also has what looked to be a Pioneer 1.5 DIN CD player. Steering wheel leather was bad. Floor carpet was matted down and worn to the point that it looked unpresentable.
The truck was junk.
The second one is a 48,000 mile 92' with the base coat looking black cladding. Truck was leaking coolant, but the only place I saw rust on it was the leaf spring shackles. Interior was really clean, as was the outside. The rear bumper has what almost looked like pitting of some sort, possibly from a bad repaint maybe?
The dealer said the engine had been replaced 2,000 miles ago. Aside from possible mechanical issues, it appeared to be a nice truck. The dealer said a guy bought it for his son, but his son refused to drive it.
I was in a hurry, and didn't think to check what number it was. Might be able to get the number later.
