is there supposed to be a gasket between the fender and the plastic antenna grommet? '93 Ty.

You can install a power antenna with remote motor
Harada# MWB-06

There isn't much room in that fender for a reg power antenna setup.

Mine is in the headliner and the stock antenna is shaved.
Doesn't get the best reception, but it looks damn good!!!

what would you want pics of?
the fender where it used to be or the headliner where it is hidden now?

Actually, most recently I was sitting in my truck, yes its still on jackstands, hitting the test spray button on the alky and watching the voltmeter jump up and down.
When I got bored of that I started the truck and was turning the wheel trying to get a feeling for the ZQ8 steering box and HD steering shaft.
Although with no tie rods it doesn't give much feedback.

Then again its nice just to have a Typhoon to go sit in whenever i want!!!
LoL

Dustan said the tie rods shipped Tues morn, and Steve C is shipping me a replacement Alky pump under warranty free of charge.
Friend of mine started bead blasting my IC and said the paint is epoxy based and DOES NOT want to come off. he estimated 3 hours to finish blasting and told me I had to come over and do it myself. Nice guy, eh?

I don't care, I was just a little pist cuz I've got a simple question that anyone with a Sy or Ty can answer but no one's hooked me up yet.

FWIW.. There wasnt a gasket under my antenna when I had it off. My truck was painted before I got it so they may have left it off.

IMO our trucks prolly didnt come with gaskets. Older iron has em but late model stuff (to me sytys are late model) usually doesnt have these little doo dads. Saves the manufacturers $.0002 X kabillion cars= lotsa cash.

I have a stock intercooler wioth all the paint stripped if you want to trade the top is polished pretty good, and if he has already started stripping it just use Tal Strip (5.00 a can from Pep Boys) does the job in about 30 minutes.
