Typhoon driveshaft for 4L80E

How much do you shorten the stock Typhoon driveshaft by for the 4L80E conversion?

should be no more than $150 or so and 3 1/4 inches.

The truck is in the shop and the trans is up here. I'm trying to aim off as the guy doing the body resto will get the driveshaft done as well.

So 3.25" is the number - thanks denny! I guess it is the same as the Ty after all. I read Myclone's thread and it was 3.5" so I am not sure what that's all about.

John - what is 150? mm? Thats 6 inches!!

compare the front propshafts.. if you already have the 4l80E. the difference in those is what needs to be shortened in the rear.

prop shaft is 50 miles away, new prop shaft is here with me. Might just hold off on getting that work done until I can compare the two.

The new prop shaft is the HD one from BLAKE. I was hoping he would have answered.
