Typhoon Motor Mounts

I suspect my drivers side motor mount is bad. The upper radiator hose has a few gouges out of it and I broke a heater core. :) So...

What should I get? My friend put motor mounts in with the engine in and it was a weekend ordeal.

Solid, poly, or stock? The motor has 122k on it, stock, and Id suspect the motor wont be in that much longer :( although I hope it is...

What's the easiest to put in, do the ratcheting wrenches make it better? And, how any tutorials out there?

thanks guys

Well, have fun doing the engine mounts. They are no fun!! I put poly mounts in. That is what most people use. Stocks would be easier to do but they are not as strong. If you use the stocks you better put a engine tie down cable on also so you dont break them again. The ratcheting tools are a must for doing this job. It took us 2 days to replace my mounts.

i just used a ford tailgate cable and strapped it to the frame after i broke mine and realized it would be a bitch to replace. cable works but is a temporary solution. do a search for the ford cable and you will find it.
