Typhoons not made in Shreveport?

I'm working on a script to decode SyTy VINs, so I've been looking up VIN reference stuff and experimenting using SyTy VINs posted here. I noticed that in all the Ty examples I have, the 11th digit of the VIN is 0, which corresponds to Pontiac. Syclones use 8, which is Shreveport.

It doesn't really mean anything, but I just noticed it and didn't remember anyone ever mentioning it here before.

Yea, the old GM plant only produced Sonomas and S10's. That'd be the reason why.

The new plant builds trucks and SUV's, also. They build the H3 there, now.

edit: my location use to actually say...Birthplace of the Syclone.....well it sorta was anyways.
