Upgrading Stock Radiator

Fellow Turbo Geeks,

Has anyone had a Radiator shop upgrade the stock SyTy radiator ? I have a new custom made Griffin radiator from a GP a few years ago and the extra 3/4" extra thickness is creating a real space problem with my much bigger PTE Turbo. Not alotta xtra room on these beasts.

It looks like there is some room for some more core on the existing radiator frame (~1"). I will check w some rad shops around here to see if they can recore it w a bigger core. I think it is a 2 core and maybe we can get a 3 or 4 core in there.

The Griffin is a great unit and I'm sure that I won't be able to match it, but I guess I'm just doing too damned many Mods. Might be sellling it.

thats exactly why dequick made his rad this way. but good luick getting one. Ive got one here in the shop to snap a few pics if ya need it. but then again I think there are some on his site
