Upper Ic leaking ?

Took off upper Ic ,Plugged both hoses filled it up with water and it leaks a little bit , Can this cause it to smoke at an idle or not ? had sign,s off coolant in front of throttlebody . The rookie RJones

Ouch.

Dont think water and gas will burn well together.
As for adding coolant i cant see how this is gonna help either.

You can run the truck open intake without the ic on... Just go start it up and see if it is still smoking at idle.

btw It should be a white smoke if its burning water.
