Upper intake port matching question

Before i grind away i wanted to get some input. Am i supposed to grind all of that aluminum away that is showing inside the gasket area? Right now i just smoothed out the ports. Does anyone have a pic fo theirs?

think waller ported the snot out of his lower and matched the upper. i know he had pics over at chitown gallery, but that computer is a turd. dunno if he has them on his pc or not. lemmie know what you find as i have a spare upper/lower that i need to port as well.

i had mine smothed out in the runners, i didnt like the way they just ended like that, had it port matched to lower,

But dont take it to far, theres not much to work with there.

ya you have to be really careful or you will punch trough the intake, which I have done. but lucky for us it's alum so you just weld it and try again...if you want the pics of the ones I have done I can email them to you....email me and I'll send them your way.
